Slow Cooker Glazed Ham with Apricot-Mustard Sauce



This Slow Cooker Glazed Ham with Apricot-Mustard Sauce is a tasty and simple dish that's great for any event. When you mix sweet apricot preserves, sour Dijon mustard, and brown sugar, you get a tasty glaze that brings out the natural richness of the ham. The ham is always a hit because it is juicy and tender thanks to slow cooking.

Ingredients:

  • 1 5-7 pounds bone-in ham
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions:

Place the ham in the slow cooker

In a bowl, mix together the apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and ground ginger

Pour the sauce over the ham, ensuring it's well coated

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the ham is heated through and tender

Baste the ham with the sauce from the slow cooker every hour or so to keep it moist

Once cooked, remove the ham from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing

Serve the sliced ham with additional sauce from the slow cooker
