Slow Cooker Kielbasa and Barbecue Beans



A hearty and flavorful dish featuring smoked kielbasa sausage and tender beans cooked in a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cans 15 oz each of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 oz of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Sliced kielbasa, kidney beans, black beans, and chopped onion should all be put in a slow cooker

BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a different bowl

Put the kielbasa and beans in the slow cooker

Add the sauce mixture and stir to coat everything

Put the lid on and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, until the flavors are mixed well and the kielbasa is fully cooked

Enjoy while hot!
