Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined
Fold in the oats and crushed Butterfinger candy bars, distributing them evenly throughout the dough
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely
Once cooled, the cookies are ready to enjoy!
